Hello, my name is Whitney and welcome to my website! I have always loved art and am now hoping to spread my creations to others. I love to create artwork and especially love painting animals. I began doing requests for friends of their pets and found that more and more people were interested in a painting, so I decided to create this website, where you can browse my works and perhaps decide to commission a painting of your own. About me: I've been drawing as long as I can remember and have taken art classes since I was in elementary school. Most of my education is informal aside from school art classes, but I have taken classes at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design and Harrisburg Area Community College. I practiced drawing pictures from magazines and photos of my own pets. To the left is my American Pit Bull Terrier, Rhys. He is the highlight of my day and the subject in many of my paintings. I also have a horse, Baloo, who I have not been able to capture a photo of successfully yet due to him being white and looking like a big blank space in photos! |
